PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
5 c. sugar
1 can cream
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (18 oz.) jar Jif peanut butter
1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
nuts (optional)

Combine sugar, cream, butter and syrup in heavy cooker. Boil to soft-ball stage, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, peanut butter, marshmallow cream and nuts, if desired. Pour into well buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.

For chocolate fudge, substitute 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips for peanut butter.
