1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
10 oz. Oreo cookies
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan combine chocolate, milk, 1/4 cup butter, sugar and salt. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool 30 minutes. Add vanilla.

Smash cookies and mix together with 1/3 cup melted butter. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread softened ice cream over cookie mixture. Freeze. Pour chocolate sauce on top. Freeze until firm.
