FROZEN CHOCOLATE DESSERT 
24 oreo cookies
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 Baker's German sweet chocolate bar
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1 stick butter

Crush cookies in blender or food processor. Reserve some cookie crumbs for garnish. Put remaining crumbs in 9 x 13 pan and drizzle with melted butter. Let set in freezer. Cover with softened ice cream. Freeze.

Bring to boil the chocolate bar, sugar, evaporated milk, salt, and butter. Boil for 4-5 minutes stirring constantly. Cool. Spread on ice cream. Let set in freezer. Top with cool whip. Sprinkle with a few more cookie crumbs. Freeze.

Before serving, let dessert set out for a few minutes so it is easier to cut.
