MINT CHOCOLATE FROZEN DESSERT 
1 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
1 c. ground pecans
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 c. powdered sugar
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon peppermint ice cream

Mix wafers, pecans, the 1/2 cup melted butter and the 1/4 cup sugar. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Cream the 1 cup butter and powdered sugar. Add egg yolks, melted chocolate and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites. Spread half of this mixture over crumb crust. Chill 1 hour. Spread the 1/2 gallon peppermint ice cream over chocolate layer. Add remaining chocolate mixture over ice cream. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Freeze.
