REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUP
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Approximately 30 Reese's miniatures

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, 1/3 cup sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix well. Combine dry ingredients. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove from oven. Immediately place unwrapped candy on top of each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around edges. Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack. Cool completely. 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
