CROCK POT BEEF BURGUNDY | |
4-5 lb. beef cubes (1 inch) 2 onions, sliced 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained 2 c. Gallo hearty burgundy 2 cans beef broth 2 or 3 pkgs. Herb-Ox beef broth 1/2 c. minute tapioca, if desired parsley, chopped In a 5-quart crock pot place onions, beef cubes, and mushrooms. Cover with burgundy and beef broth. Stir in one packet of Herb-Ox beef broth for flavoring. If you like a thick gravy, stir in minute tapioca and broth will thicken as it cooks. Cook according to crock pot directions, usually 8-12 hours. During last hour, adjust seasoning with more Herb-Ox beef broth packets. Top with parsley. Serve with rice, salad, and French bread. An easy, but special meal! |
