CRANBERRY SWIRL COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Cream butter, sugar and extract. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with sour cream. Grease and flour tube pan. Layer 1/2 batter and 1/2 cranberry sauce. Add rest of batter and remaining cranberry sauce. Sprinkle on nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. When slightly cool, spread with glaze.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 - 3 tbsp. warm water

Mix the above ingredients and spread on coffee cake.
