LAYERED GREEN SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn in pieces
1 c. diced celery
1 sm. sweet onion, diced
8 slices crisp bacon
8 hard boiled eggs
1 pkg peas, frozen
1/2 c. green pepper, diced

Layer as follows: lettuce, celery, onion, eggs, pepper, peas and bacon. Then frost with the following:

2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together and spread on top of salad. Top with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
