SESAME CHICKEN | |
3 1/2 to 4 lbs. boneless chicken breasts, cut into lg. chunks 1/2 c. sesame seeds 6 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. soy sauce 4 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 cloves garlic, minced 4 green onions, sliced Brown sesame seeds in oil over moderate heat. Cool. Combine cooled sesame seeds/oil mixture and remaining ingredients, except chicken. Add chicken and toss. Marinate 1 to 4 hours. Put chicken mixture (including marinade) in broiler-proof pan and broil 6 inches from heat, approximately 20 minutes, turning halfway. Serves 8. |
