1 lb. candied fruit, ground fine
1 lb. blanched almonds, ground
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. anise seed, crushed
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
6 to 8 c. flour

Mix all ingredients in order. Roll out and cut in desired shapes. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Frost and decorate while warm.
