GINGER CUT - OUT CHRISTMAS
COOKIES
 
1 c. lard, real full
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
5 level tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 2/3 c. boiling water
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. flour or enough to make a soft dough

Combine all ingredients well. Chill. Then roll out and cut into shapes. Bake in a 350 degree oven. Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
