GREEN BEAN SALAD 
2 (#2) cans French cut green beans, drain & save liquid
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. salad oil
3/4 c. cider vinegar
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 med. jar pimentos, drained
Salt & pepper to taste
Bean juice & water to equal 1 c.

Whisk sugar and liquid together. Add all ingredients and chill 1 or 2 days. Keeps well. When serving, drain liquid and place beans, onion and pimento in serving bowl.
