VIDALIA ONION RINGS 
1 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. beer
1 inch oil
3 to 4 lg. onions (sliced 1/2 inch thick and separated)

Mix until smooth. Dip onion rings and drop in hot oil. Lift out when golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
