GREEN RICE CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked rice
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli (cooked using microwave chart)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded pasteurized process American cheese

1. Prepare rice and broccoli; set aside.

2. Put onion and butter into a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole. Cook uncovered in microwave 4 minutes at HIGH; stir once.

3. Add cooked rice, cooked broccoli and soup to onion-butter mixture; mix well.

4. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Cover with an all-glass lid or plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven for 10 minutes at HIGH; rotate casserole one-quarter turn halfway through cooking period. 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
