STUFFED CABBAGE 
2 heads med. size cabbage
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. hamburger
2 c. cooked rice
1 onion, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 sm. piece salt pork
1 lg. can tomato sauce
Salt & pepper to taste

Cut core off bottom of cabbage and parboil until leaves come apart. Mix beef and rice and onion together with salt and pepper. Stuff cabbage leaf with meat and rice mixture, rolling leaves around stuffing to enclose it. Layer in roasting pan with a little water. Cook at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Pour tomato sauce over rolled leaves. Put salt pork into small pieces and fry until crisped. Pour over sauce. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
