DIPPED CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Cream butter and cheese; add sugar; cream until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla extract Add flour; blend. Force through star tip of cookie press onto ungreased baking sheet, forming dough into "S" or crescent shape.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool. Melt (170 degrees) chocolate pieces. Dip tips of cookies in chocolate. Cool. Yield: 6 dozen cookies.

To serve when frozen: Thaw, unwrapped, at room temperature for 15 minutes. Can be 6 months in refrigerator.
