1 stick soft butter
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and cheese together until fluffy. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, salt, egg, and vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, stir into cheese mixture. Roll out dough thinly on lightly floured board. Cut with floured cookie cutter. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
