SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1-2 c. mashed potatoes
1 sm. onion, minced
1 egg yolks
Seasonings to taste

Saute onion and meat for 10-15 minutes. Drain fat; place meat in bottom of pie plate. Top with mashed potatoes and smooth with spatula. Brush potato top with well beaten egg yolk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until slightly browned.
