DEVILS FOOD CAKE AND EASY
CHOCOLATE FROSTING
 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt and cocoa together. Add water, vinegar, salad oil and vanilla. Bake in greased 9x13 inch pan for 35 minutes at 325 degrees or can be baked on a cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.

FROSTING: Cook frosting ingredients together, except the chips, for 1 minute. Add chips, mix and pour on cake. Can be put on while cake is still warm.
