DATE NUT BALLS 
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. chopped dates
1 (8 oz.) pkg. coconut
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated (regular) sugar
2 sticks butter, melted
2 c. chopped pecans

Mix above ingredients and cook over medium heat 6 minutes, stirring very often. Let cool a little (5 minutes or so) and add 4 cups of Rice Krispies. Roll in small balls, roll in powdered sugar.

Makes about 125 balls. Can store in air tight container a long time.
