DATE NUT BALLS 
2 sticks butter
1 lb. chopped dates
1 sm. can shredded coconut (4 oz.)
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. dark brown sugar
4 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. pecans
Powdered sugar (to roll balls)

Cook first 5 ingredients over low heat until it comes to a bubble and time it for 6 minutes. Add next 2 ingredients and remove from heat. Stir well. Let cool until its comfortable for you to start rolling. Roll into little balls then roll in powdered sugar. Makes 200 balls.
