DATE NUT PUDDING 
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1/3 c. rolled pecans
1/2 c. whipped cream
1 egg
1/2 c. dates, chopped

Mix sugar with flour and salt; add egg and milk. Cook in double boiler until thick and creamy. Stir constantly. Add dates and vanilla. Beat well and cool slightly. Add nuts and cream.
