DATE NUT CHEESE BALL 
1(8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. sharp Cheddar, shredded
4-6 tbsp. rum
2/3 c. chopped dates
2/3 c. chopped pecans

In a food processor or blender mix first four ingredients until well blended.

Place a piece of plastic wrap in shallow rounded bowl and press cheese mixture into it. Refrigerate for several hours.

To serve invert onto a plate - press chopped nuts to cover. Serve with French bread, crackers or fruit.
