1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 dashes Tabasco
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

For 7 1/2 pound and over brisket, use 1/2 cup vinegar. For less than 7 pound brisket, use 1/4 to 1/3 cup vinegar.

Marinate brisket overnight, turning once. Next morning, add 1/2 to 1 cup water, cover tightly and bake 8 hours at 250 degrees. Drain off liquid and slice. Add barbecue sauce and bake for additional 20-30 minutes.
