BEEF BRISKET BARBECUE 
2 1/2 lbs. well trimmed beef boneless brisket
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf, crumbled

Sprinkle beef with salt. Place in ungreased oblong baking dish (13 1/2 x 9 x 2 inches). Mix remaining ingredients. Pour on beef. Cover and cook in 325 degree oven until beef is tender, about 2 hours.
