CHESS PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten well
2 tbsp. meal
5 or 6 tbsp. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 or 2/3 sticks butter
1 unbaked pie shell

Mix and place in pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or less. Bake until center is not done. Shake a little at different times as long as pie is baking.
