MICROWAVE PECAN PIE 
3 tbsp. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) baked pastry shell (in a glass plate)

Microwave butter in a 2 cup glass measuring cup at high, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Add eggs, corn syrup, and brown sugar. Add flour and vanilla to melted butter. Microwave at medium/high for 2 minutes. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pastry shell. Microwave at medium 15 to 20 minutes or until sides are firm. Center will be soft but will firm while standing. Cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
