SARA'S CHOCOLATE LUSH 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

Sift together the flour, salt, 2 tablespoons cocoa and sugar. Add the shortening, milk, vanilla and nuts. Mix until well blended and spread batter in ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Combine the brown sugar, 4 tablespoons cocoa and hot water. Pour liquid mixture over top of batter.

Bake in moderate oven at 350°F for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm or cold. Top the inverted squares with chocolate lush from bottom of pan.
