SOUR CREAM & RAISIN PIE | |
2 eggs 1 c. whipping cream (soured, thick to cut with knife) 1 c. sugar 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. hot water 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tbsp. flour, rounded 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt Soak raisins in 1/2 cup hot water until water is cold and raisins are plump. Mix flour with sugar. Add all other ingredients. Put into unbaked 9 inch pie shell and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 8 minutes. Lower to 325 degrees and continue baking 1 hour or until solid and fork comes out clean. |
