GERMAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
6 tbsp. butter
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Coconut topper

In saucepan melt chocolate and butter stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla; mix well. Stir together flour and baking powder; stir into chocolate mixture. Spread on greased 9 x 9 x 12 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Spread with coconut topper; bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes more. Cool, cut into bars.

COCONUT TOPPER:

In medium bowl: Beat 2 egg yolks with 2/3 cups sugar; 1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.) and 1/4 cup butter, melted. Stir in 1 cup flaked coconut and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
