GERMAN CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE
BROWNIES
 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 oz. softened cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Microwave chocolate and butter on high for 2 minutes or until melted. Add 3/4 cup sugar; mix well. Blend in 2 eggs and vanilla. Stir in 1/2 cup flour and nuts; mix well. Spread into greased 8 inch square baking pan.

In small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and flour until well blended. Spoon over brownie mixture; cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect. Bake 35-40 minutes. Do not over bake.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
