SALISBURY STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushroom pieces
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. milk
1 can water chestnuts
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Combine beef, 1/4 can of soup, 1/2 of mushrooms, egg, 1/4 cup milk and bread crumbs, water chestnuts, and onion. Mix thoroughly and form into patties. Cover with waxed paper and cook on high for 7 minutes in microwave. Let stand 5 minutes. Combine remaining soup, mushrooms, and milk in saucepan. Heat thoroughly and pour over patties.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
