POTATO CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (2 lb.) bag hash browns, thawed
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp. pepper

TOPPING:

2 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. butter, melted

Mix ingredients (except topping ingredients) and put in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix together the topping ingredients and place over potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
