FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can fruit cocktail
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix ingredients. Don't use mixer. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

ICING:

1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 can cream
1 1/2 c. sugar

Mix ingredients for icing. Cook icing for 5 minutes after it comes to a boil. Punch holes in cake and pour icing over cake.
