TASTY CHOW MEIN 
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. (or less) green pepper
1 can bean sprouts
1 can bamboo shoots
1 can water chestnuts
1/2 to 1 lb. chicken or pork

In a little saucepan: 1 c. water 2 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. molasses (heaping)

Sear meat in hot oil. Add all uncooked vegetables. Half cook them. Add the soy sauce mixture and stir over low heat until mixture thickens.

Serve with white rice and Chinese noodles. This is the best recipe and it is easy to make. I have always loved this recipe.
