TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Sift flour and sugar together in large bowl. In a sauce pan bring together butter, shortening, cocoa and water to a boil; then pour it over the flour and sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into large rimmed cookie sheet (10 x 15 inches) that has been greased and floured. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. During the last 5 minutes, make icing.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
Coconut (optional)

Bring butter, cocoa and milk to boil. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth and spread on hot cake.
