POTATO CHIP BROWNIES 
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 c. crushed potato chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt chocolate and shortening over hot water, cool. Add sugar slowly to well beaten eggs, beating until blended. Add the cooled chocolate, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour, crushed potato chips and nuts. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares, while still warm. About 30.
