BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
3 c. flour

Boil raisins, water and baking soda until it foams. Cool. Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Add flour alternately with raisins. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 1 hour. Use 5 gold (16 ounce) cans half full.
