AUNT FERN'S COBBLER 
Frozen blackberries (thawed and drained, save juice)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. butter

Cream together sugar and butter, then add other ingredients. Put drained fruit on bottom of pan. Then spread batter over fruit. (you can double the batter only)

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Salt

Mix and put over batter then pour the juice (boiling) on top (water and juice to make 1 cup). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
