FRESH BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
2 c. fresh blackberries (or canned)
1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. self rising flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir 1/2 c. sugar into fruit and set aside. Melt butter in baking pan. Sift flour and sugar together. Add milk a little at a time and mix well until smooth. Pour batter into pan of melted butter. (Do not mix), then pour berries over batter.

Bake for 50 minutes.
