BEEF KABOBS 
1 lb. trimmed top sirloin
1/2 c. dry white wine
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. each red wine vinegar and coarse grain mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. each cracked black pepper and sugar

Cut trimmed sirloin into 1 inch cubes. Combine: white wine, olive oil, red wine vinegar, mustard, garlic, black pepper, and sugar. Put beef in a plastic bag; add marinade. Close bag, marinate for 30 minutes. Pour off marinade, reserve. Thread 4 to 5 beef cubes onto each of 4 skewers. Broil or grill 10 to 13 minutes, turn and brush with reserved marinade occasionally.

Serve with marinated salad of mushrooms, purple onion, yellow squash, broccoli, tomatoes, etc.
