VERMONT STYLE CREAM CORN 
1/4 lb. bacon, diced
1 onion, diced
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. flour
2 boxes frozen corn, thawed
1/2 c. maple syrup
2 c. half and half
Salt & pepper to taste

In skillet, saute bacon until crisp, add onion and butter, saute until onion is clear. Add flour and stir over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Add all other ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Salt and pepper to taste.
