OYSTERS BAKED IN CREAM-STYLE
CORN
 
1 pt. fresh oysters, well drained
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
Parsley sprigs

Combine all ingredients; pour into a greased 1-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes or until mixture sets. Oysters will be tough if they are cooked too long. Garnish with parsley sprigs. Yield: 6 servings.

Holy moly! I didn't think anyone ate this but my family. I don't personally every want to try 'em but my family always cleans the baking dish out.

LOL me too. I only like fried oysters myself. We do ours in layers though. No egg, no milk, with chunks of butter in the layers. Where do you think this came from? My grandparents came from Iowa and Mississippi. Came out to Califorina to long beach.

My grandma brought this recipe from TN. about 1910. I love it and loved it as a kid whenever we visited them.

I have to add that she didn't bring it to MS but to CA. I was born in CA but live now in MS
