1 stick butter
1 can evaporated milk
3 c. sugar
2 or 3 very lg. spoons peanut butter

Combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil over low to medium heat. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat; add peanut butter. Stir and let cool slightly. Stir until thick. Pour onto buttered plate. Cut into squares when set.
