POLISH SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
6 Polish sausages
1 can sauerkraut
2 lg. potatoes, shredded
Salt, pepper, cayenne, and paprika to taste
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
2 tbsp. butter

Cook sausage about 5 minutes in a little water in skillet. Drain and lightly brown in skillet. Cut in half if they are the large ones.

In bottom of 10 x 6 inch glass dish, put sauerkraut; add seasonings. Add caraway seeds to the shredded potatoes. Put on top of sauerkraut. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Place Polish sausages on top and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Serves 4.
