NUT AND RAISINS BREAD 
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs
2 c. milk

Sift first 4 ingredients together; add nutmeats and raisins. Separately beat eggs and milk. Add to powdered mixture and stir well. Put into 2 greased and floured bread pans. Let stand 20 minutes. Then bake in 350 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes; cool in pans 5 minutes, then turn out to cool on racks.
