RAISIN - NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine sugar, eggs and salt. Combine buttermilk and soda. Stir into sugar mixture. Add flour and beat until smooth. Add pecans, raisins and butter. Mix well. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
