ROUND RAISIN NUT BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. nuts

Bring raisins, water and soda to a boil. When it foams, remove from stove. Beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add raisin mixture and flour alternately. Fold in nuts. Pour into 4 greased #2 cans (pie filling size) or 4 miniature bread pans (3 pans for larger loaf) and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
