ZUCCHINI CASSEROLE 
3-4 sm. zucchini squash or 2 lg.
butter
1 lg. onion
Sprinkle of garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and remove bud end of squash. Slice into 1/4 inch rounds. Do not peel. Clean onion and dice. Cover bottom of covered 1-quart casserole dish with layer of butter.

Layer squash, onion, garlic sprinkle, salt and pepper. Continue layering ingredients until dish is full. Top with pads of butter and generous covering of grated cheese. Cover and bake in traditional oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. (May microwave on high power for 20 minutes.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
