1 pkg. Heinz hash browns with onions - or Potatoes O'Brien (I use Potatoes O'Brien)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. butter
8 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Leave potatoes out at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Add all ingredients and blend well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. After first 1/2 hour, crush some potato chips over the top and return to oven for another 1/2 hour.
